Press Release: Hall of Fame to Host Holiday Celebration Dec. 2

--  Museum Visitors Will Enjoy Pathfinder Village Bell Choir; Free Admission for Local Residents after 4 p.m. -- (COOPERSTOWN, NY) – The spirit of Cooperstown will be on full display on Dec. 2 when Museum visitors and the National Baseball Hall of Fame team up for a day of holiday fun.   The Hall of Fame will host its Holiday Celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 2. Beginning at 4 p.m., all local residents will be given access to the Museum free of charge.   Starting at 4 p.m., Museum guests are invited to stop by the craft table near the Information Desk to create their own holiday-themed bobblehead.   Join us in the Hall of Fame Plaque Gallery at 4:30 p.m. for a holiday tradition at the National Baseball Hall of Fame: A special performance by the Pathfinder Village Bell Choir. Pathfinder Village is a community in Edmeston, N.Y., dedicated to serving individuals with Down syndrome. Following the performance, meet members of the Pathfinder Village Bell Choir.   The Village of Cooperstown will join in the festivities on Dec. 2 with Stroll the Street from 4-7 p.m. on Main Street.   For more information, please call 607-547-7200.   The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is open seven days a week year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. From Labor Day through the start of Memorial Day Weekend, the Museum observes daily regular hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Ticket prices are $30 for adults (13 and over), $24 for seniors (65 and over) and $21 for juniors (ages 7-12) and $20 for those holding current memberships in the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and AMVets organizations.
