Allegedly, the Mets are “in the mix” for free agent Kyle Schwarber. In 2025, Schwarber had 56 HR, 108 BB and 197 strikeouts, making him a three-true-outcome star. My opinion is that Schwarber would be great on a three-year deal. Yet it seems like he’ll be able to pull at least four years and five wouldn’t be a surprise, either. Depending on the AAV, Schwarber could be worth his contract on a longer deal.
