Are the Wilpons secretly still the owners ? This is embarrassing
I think the Wilpons would have been clearer in their intent. I think the plan was to keep Diaz but let Pete go. They just blew the Diaz negotiation. The Nimmo trade did not make sense as you need outfielders, have a number of infielders - so you trade an outfielder for an infielder - ones that's on the wrong side of 35? IMO, moves this winter set them back.
