PRESS RELEASE: NEW YORK METS ANNOUNCE INITIAL 2026 GATE GIVEAWAY SCHEDULE

Several new items and nostalgic collectibles will accompany returning fan favorites as part of the must-have gate giveaway line-up for the games in March through June of the 2026 season

 

FLUSHING, N.Y., February 19, 2026 – The New York Mets announced today the club's gate giveaway schedule for games in March through June of the 2026 season at Citi Field.

 

From fan favorites to nostalgic collectibles, the 2026 gate giveaway schedule features 15 exclusive must-have items to start the season. The first 15,000 fans will receive gate giveaway items unless otherwise noted.

 

The excitement starts on Opening Day as the Mets begin the 2026 season at home against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday, March 26, which will include a 2026 Magnet Schedule presented by Delta Air Lines for all fans in attendance.

 

The Mets will be celebrating the 40^th anniversary of the 1986 World Series Championship team throughout the season with multiple 1986 themed giveaways including:

• 1986 World Series Championship Replica Ring on Saturday, March 28
• 1986 World Series Retro T-Shirt on Tuesday, May 26

 

Through the start of the season, the Mets will feature four bobblehead gate giveaways for the first 18,000 fans including:

• Juan Soto 40/30 Bobblehead presented by Citi on Saturday, April 11
• Mr. Met Unisphere Light Up Bobblehead on Saturday, April 25
• Hello Kitty® Bobblehead on Saturday, June 13
• Juan Soto Baseball Card Bobblehead presented by Haugland Group on Thursday, June 25

 

Returning this season are several fan favorites alongside new apparel designs, player themed items and additional items including:

• Bobby Valentine Disguise on Friday, May 29
• Mets Soccer Jersey presented by Coca-Cola on Thursday, June 11
• Mets Purse on Monday, June 22
• Mets Chain Necklace on Tuesday, June 23

Rounding out the lineup of gate giveaways for March through June are items for the first 5,000 kids 12 and under including:
