The Brooklyn Cyclones (2-5, 2-5) look to earn a series split as they conclude their first road series of the season against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws (4-3, 4-3) — the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies — on Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. from ShoreTown Ballpark in Lakewood, N.J.

RHP Irving Cota (0-0, 0.00) is expected to make his first start of the season for the Cyclones. Jersey Shore is scheduled to counter with RHP Sam Highfill (0-0, 0.00).

LAST TIME OUT: Brooklyn captured their second-straight extra-inning victory with a 6-3 triumph at Jersey Shore in 10 innings on Saturday afternoon...Trailing by a run in the 9th, DH Ronald Hernandez roped a leadoff triple and scored the tying tally on a wild pitch...In the 10th, 2B Antonio Jimenez provided the go-ahead sacrifice fly...The Cyclones tacked on a pair of insurance runs on a C Daiverson Gutiérrez bases-loaded walk and another wild pitch...Brooklyn's bullpen was marvelous...RHPs Garrett Stratton (1.2 IP, 2 K), Cristofer Gomez (1.2, 3), and Danis Correa (2.1, 2) combined to twirl 5.2 innings of 1-hit shutout relief, striking out 7...SS Mitch Voit collected a season-high 3 hits and scored twice in the victory...Hernandez reached base 4 times, on a triple and 3 walks, in the win.
