The Brooklyn Cyclones (10-27, 10-27) conclude their six-game series and two-week road trip, and seek a series split, against the Rome Emperors (21-17, 21-17) — the High-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves — on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. ET from AdventHealth Stadium in Rome, Ga.

RHP Brady Miller (0-0, 3.60) is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The Emperors are scheduled to counter with RHP Cade Kuehler (2-1, 6.04), who earned the victory in Tuesday’s series opener.

LAST TIME OUT: After back-to-back wins on Thursday and Friday, the Cyclones fell 1-0 on Saturday in Rome...RHP Irving Cota made his first start with Brooklyn since returning from Double-A Binghamton and threw 3.0 perfect innings with three strikeouts...RHP Parker Carlson entered in the 4th and took a tough-luck loss...The reliever pitched 2.0 innings, allowing an unearned run on one hit and three walks...3B John Gil stole third for his league-leading 22nd stolen base and scored the game's lone run on an errant throw to third base...RHP Cedric De Grandpre was brilliant for Rome, allowing just two hits and striking out 10 over 7.0 scoreless innings, both career highs...Despite being limited to just three hits in the loss, CF Sam Biller extended his hitting streak to seven games with a 3rd inning double...The shutout defeat marked the second time in the series that Brooklyn was held scoreless and the fourth time this season.
