We are very honored here at Mets News and Links to be able to bring some of the great photos from Syracuse Mets games taken by Award Winning Photographer Herm Card. As you'll see, Herm specializes in taking tremendous action shots of Syracuse Mets Players.
Herm was kind enough to share photos of Zach Thornton's Triple-A Debut, a game that the S-Mets lost 7-4. Zach gave up two doubles to start the game, settled down and later allowed a 2-run homer bit went 6 innings and displayed mid-90's velo that showed he could pitch at the AAA level. His final line: 6 innings; 3 runs; 3 ERs; 5 hits; 2 walks; 4 Ks; 84 pitches, 60 strikes.
