FLUSHING, N.Y., July 4, 2026 – Major Leage Baseball today announced that outfielder Juan Soto was named to the National League All-Star team. The 96th All-Star Game will take place on Tuesday, July 14 in Philadelphia.
Soto was selected by the fans and will make his second career All-Star starting nod. He also started the 2024 All-Star Game for the American League. Soto was named to his fifth overall All-Star team and first as a member of the Mets.
Soto leads the National League with a .971 OPS and .406 on-base percentage, ranks second in slugging (.565), eighth in batting average (.297) and tied for ninth in home runs (18).
He drew his 900th career walk on April 22 vs. Minnesota to become the only player in history to record 900 walks, 200 doubles and 200 homers before turning 28.
Soto connected on his 250th career home run on May 15 vs. the Yankees. He became the fifth-youngest player to reach 250 home runs, only Alex RodrÃguez, Jimmie Foxx, Eddie Matthews and Albert Pujols reached the milestone at a younger age.
