Press Release: Binghamton Rumble Ponies Announce 2027 Home Schedule

Binghamton opens 10th season as Rumble Ponies on April 6 vs. Reading

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Rumble Ponies, Double-A affiliate of the New York Mets, will open their home portion of the 2027 season on Tuesday, April 6, against the Reading Fightin Phils (Double-A, Philadelphia Phillies) at Mirabito Stadium.

The 69-game home schedule is headlined by two six-game series against the Somerset Patriots (Double-A, New York Yankees) in the Double-A Subway Series. The Patriots will play at Mirabito Stadium from August 3-8 and in the final homestand from August 31-September 5.

Binghamton will also play 12 games at home against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Double-A, Toronto Blue Jays) from June 22-27 and July 20-25. Binghamton will play nine games at home against the Portland Sea Dogs (Double-A, Boston Red Sox) from April 20-25 and from July 16-18, in the first series after the All-Star Break.

The Rumble Ponies will play at home on Mother’s Day (May 9) against the Hartford Yard Goats (Double-A, Colorado Rockies) and on Father’s Day (June 20) against the Harrisburg Senators (Double-A, Washington Nationals).

Binghamton’s final homestand of the regular season will be played on Labor Day weekend against Somerset from August 31-September 5. The Rumble Ponies will play on the road during Independence Day weekend.

The home slate features games against each Northeast Division opponent: Reading, Portland, Hartford, New Hampshire, and Somerset. The Rumble Ponies will also host four Southwest Division teams: Erie SeaWolves (Double-A, Detroit Tigers), Altoona Curve (Double-A, Pittsburgh Pirates), Harrisburg, and Richmond Flying Squirrels (Double-A, San Francisco Giants).

2027 will mark Binghamton’s 36th-consecutive season as the Double-A Affiliate of the New York Mets. It marks the 10th season as the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.
