FLUSHING, N.Y., August 3, 2026 - The New York Mets have announced that they have acquired RHP Gabe Davis and RHP Zach Franklin from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for RHP Huascar Brazobán.
Franklin, 27, went 2-2 with five saves and a 3.46 ERA (22 ER/45.1 IP) in 33 games, one start with Triple-A Charlotte this year. The Marion, NC native had 60 strikeouts and 14 walks and a 1.13 WHIP over those 45.1 innings. The 6-1, 198-pounder is 12-9 with 22 saves and a 3.46 ERA (63 ER/163.2 IP) in 129 games during his four-year minor league career.
