Here are today's Game Notes that the Mets sent out for today's Game. 

METSCELLANEOUS: The Mets celebrated Labor Day with a 9-4 victory over the Marlins...The team improved to 31–37–1 on Labor Day...The Mets are seeking their 20th series victory of the season and their ninth on the road...The Mets have won four of their last five games and three of their last four road games...The Mets continue their six-game road trip (1-0), heading to Miami (1-0) and across town to Yankee Stadium (three games).

A.J. STYLES: A.J. Ewing recorded his second straight multi-hit game, finishing 3-5 with one doubles and three RBI yesterday...He has reached base safely in each of his last seven games, batting .400 (10-25) with five runs, two doubles, one homer, five RBI, four walks, one steal, a .483 OBP and a 1.083 OPS.

ON DEADLINE: The Mets are 19-12 since the trade deadline...Their .613 winning percentage is tied for the second-best mark in the majors during that span, trailing only Philadelphia (21-10, .677)...They are batting .254/.320/.434 with a .754 OPS...Their .434 SLG and .754 OPS ranks third in the Major Leagues in that span.

WHAT A RELIEF: Over the last two games, the Mets bullpen has tossed 8.1 scoreless innings, allowing only three hits, one walk and striking out 10...Over 47 games since the All-Star break, Mets relievers are 12-4 with a 3.01 ERA...They have allowed 56 ER in 167.2 innings...Their 3.01 ERA is the third-best mark in the majors and the second-best in the NL.

THE EAST IS A BEAST: The Mets have won four straight and five of their last seven against the NL East...Overall, they are 22-21 against the NL East this season...They have posted a 4.19 ERA against the division, while batting .248/.322/.409.

BO KNOWS BALL: Since August 1, Bo Bichette is batting .298/.360/.524 (37-124) slashline with six home runs, eight doubles, one triple, 19 RBI, 18 runs and an .884 OPS...After batting .219/.275/.308 over his first 59 games (May 31), Bichette is batting .299/.343/.469 with 18 doubles, two triples, 11 homers, 44 RBI and an .812 OPS.

BLAME IT ON THE BENGE: Carson Benge has 144 hits, the fourthmost by a Mets rookie in a single season...Ron Hunt is next with 145, followed by Ty Wigginton (146) and Pete Alonso (155)...Additionally, he picked up his 20th stolen base of the season in the third and joins Mookie Wilson (24, 1981), A.J. Ewing (22, 2026), Lee Mazzilli (22, 1977) and Gregg Jefferies (21, 1989) as the only rookies in franchise history to record 20+ stolen bases in a season...Benge and Ewing are one of 14 pairs/trios of rookie teammates in Major League history to record 20 or more stolen bases in a single season during the Live-Ball Era (since 1920).
