Jonah Tong (6.0 IP, 4 H, ER, BB, 6 K): Allowed one unearned run over 6.0 innings in his fifth appearance and second start of the season...Recorded his first career quality start and matched his career high for most innings in an outing (also: 9/6/25 at CIN)...In two starts since being re-called from Triple-A Syracuse on September 7, has allowed five runs (4 earned) over 11.0 innings with 13 strikeouts and only two walks.
A.J. Ewing (1-3, HR, RBI, R, BB): Put the Mets on the board with a solo homer in the fourth...Has reached base in 12 of his last 13 games and has a .370/.434/.640 (17-46) slashline with three home runs, three doubles, 10 RBI, 10 runs, six walks and a 1.064 OPS during that span.
Kodai Senga (1.0 IP, 2 H, 3 K): Tossed a scoreless ninth inning and recorded three strikeouts...Has pitched to a 1.88 ERA (3 ER/14.1 IP) with 18 strikeouts in his last 15 games dating back to August 4.
