Mets YouTube Videos: Straw Sets Mets Home Run Record



On September 20, 1987, Darryl Strawberry hit his 38th Home Run to break Dave Kingman's then Single Season Record of 37.  Off Mike Bielecki it broke up a 1-1 tie in the top of the 3rd.  Mets end up losing the game in 14 innings 9-8.
