The Amazin' Mets Foundation is donating 5,500 turkeys to those in need in advance of Thanksgiving on Friday, November 18, donating to a total of 11 community partners.
Taking over the New York City area, Mr. & Mrs. Met, OF Mark Canha and members of the Mets organization will be onsite helping distribute turkeys across all five boroughs.
The Amazin' Mets Foundation will host in-person distributions at The River Fund of New York in Queens, New York Common Pantry in Manhattan, Part of the Solution in the Bronx, Project Hospitality in Staten Island and Maimonides Park in Brooklyn.
Staten Island – Project Hospitality (100 Park Ave, Staten Island, NY 10302); Event Time: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Brooklyn – Maimonides Park (1904 Surf Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11224); Event Time: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Manhattan – New York Common Pantry (8 E 109th St, New York, NY 10029); Mark Canha will be on site; Event Time: 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Queens – The River Fund (8911 Lefferts Blvd, Richmond Hill, NY 11418); Event Time: 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Bronx – Part of the Solution (2759 Webster Ave, Bronx, NY 10458); Event Time: 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Mr. Met will be at the Bronx location, Mrs. Met and Mark Canha will be at the Manhattan location.
