 The Brooklyn Cyclones (19-23) travel south to start a 6-day, 8-game series against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws (22-20) — the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies — on Tuesday evening at 7:05 p.m. from ShoreTown Ballpark in Lakewood, N.J. 

RHP Blade Tidwell (2-3, 6.04) — the Mets’ top pitching prospect — is scheduled to take the hill for Brooklyn against Jersey Shore’s LHP Rafael Marcano (2-1, 3.42).

NEW TO THE BOARDWALK: Brooklyn made a bevy of roster moves prior to Tuesday’s series opener at Jersey Shore...4 players have joined the Cyclones from Class-A St. Lucie: RHPs Benito García & Michael Krauza, as well as OFs Scott Ota & Eduardo Salazar...LHP Quinn Brodey & RHP Trey McLoughlin were transferred to Double-A Binghamton, while C Omar Narváez had his Major League rehab assignment transferred to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday...García makes his return to Brooklyn in 2023 after registering a 1.93 ERA (1 ER in 4.2 IP) in 2 early May appearances...Krauza tossed 1.0 scoreless inning for Brooklyn in 2022 and did not allow a run in 3 outings (3.1 IP) with St. Lucie in 2023...Ota was 3-for-11 (.273) in 3 games for the ‘Clones in 2021 before missing the remainder of the year with injury...He was a .271 hitter (13-48) with a homer & 6 RBI in 17 games in the Florida State League this campaign...Salazar slashed .247/.307/.358 with a home run and 9 RBI in 26 contests for St. Lucie...McLoughlin (1.65) and Brodey (2.65) each had sub-3 ERAs in relief before their promotion to Double-A.
