The New York Mets have announced the following Roster Moves:
RHP Zach Pop was signed to a one year Major League Contract, Zach a 5 year MLB veteran who features a 96 MPH sinker which has produced a 54% Ground Ball Percentage in his MLB career.
RHP Austin Warren was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse.
RHP Tyler Zuber was Designated For Assignment to make room for Zach Pop on the 40 Man Roster. Tyler was acquired from the Tampa Bay Rays for Mets pitching Prospect Paul Gervase who is now on the Rays Major League Roster.
ICYMI, July 1, New York Mets traded 2B Donovan Walton to Philadelphia Phillies for cash.
RHP Eduardo Herrera - Transferred from A+ Brooklyn to AA Binghamton
Additionally, New York Mets RHP Kodai Senga will make a rehab start tonight for Binghamton and is wearing #18.
RHP Josh Blum assigned to Brooklyn Cyclones from St. Lucie Mets
RHP Eris Albino assigned to FCL Mets from DSL Mets Blue.
RHP Wilson Lopez assigned to St. Lucie Mets from FCL Mets.
