  • Jose Quintana (7.0 IP, H, 0 ER, 5 K): Is the first Met to record back-to-back starts of 7.0 scoreless innings since Jacob deGrom had three consecutive starts of 7.0 scoreless innings from September 14 - September 25, 2019. 
  • Francisco Lindor (3-4, HR, 3 RBI, 2 R, BB): Lined a single to left field in the second inning to give the Mets a 1-0 lead...Laced a two-run home run to right field to extend the Mets lead to 6-0...It was his 93rd career home run with the Mets, tying Cleon Jones for 21st in franchise history. 
  • Brandon Nimmo (1-5, HR, 3 RBI, R): Hit a three-run home run in the second to give the Mets a lead of 4-0. 
  • Jeff McNeil (1-3, RBI, BB): Roped a ground ball over the first base line for a double in the eighth to extend the Mets lead to 7-2.

Mets: Secured their fourth walk-off victory of the season when Tomás Nido scored after Brandon Nimmo reached on an error by the pitcher.

Tomás Nido (2-2, 2B, RBI, 2 R): Hit a game-tying double in the 10th with 2 out...Was his first career game-tying hit in the ninth inning or later.

Pete Alonso (1-4, HR, RBI, R): Joined David Wright (2006, 2008) and Mike
Piazza (2000) as the only Mets to reach the 70-RBI mark before the All-Star break with a solo home run in the fourth...Ended a career-high 10-game RBI drought... Had not homered in his previous 11 games, the second longest home run drought of his career.

Carlos Carrasco (5.2 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 5 K): Has allowed three earned runs
or fewer in each of his seven starts against the Marlins.

Francisco Lindor (1-4, HR, 2 RBI, R): Lined a two-run home run to give the Mets the lead in the sixth...Was his third time homering in consecutive games this season ...Reached the 60-RBI mark in his 84th game of the season...Did not reach the 60-RBI mark last season until his 122nd game on 9/30.
