The Brooklyn Cyclones (20-28, 66-48) open a six-game road trip against the Aberdeen IronBirds (22-25, 46-66) — the High-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles — on Tuesday evening at 7:05 p.m. from Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Md.
RHP Dakota Hawkins (2-2, 2.55) is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The IronBirds are projected to counter with the Orioles’ No. 29 prospect per MLB Pipeline, RHP Wellington Aracena (0-0, 1.00).

IT'S A WALK-OFF: Brooklyn completed a wild comeback on Sunday afternoon to walk off Hub City and secure a series victory...LF Nick Roselli's game-ending RBI single in the bottom of the 11th was the difference in a 6-5 victory...It was the Cyclones' second walk-off win of the week...SS Marco Vargas cracked a decisive 3-run home run in the bottom of the 7th in Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader in a 6-3 triumph...C Ronald Hernandez and Vargas have combined to produce 5 of Brooklyn's 8 walk-off wins this season and all 3 of the team's walk-off home runs...The 3 walk-off home runs are the second most in a single season in franchise history...The 2010 club holds the record with 4 walk-off long balls...Hernandez is also the first player in franchise history with multiple walk-off homers in a season and career.
