The Brooklyn Cyclones (21-28, 67-48) continue a six-game road trip against the Aberdeen IronBirds (22-26, 46-67) — the High-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles — on Wednesday evening at 7:05 p.m. from Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Md.
LHP Franklin Gómez (0-2, 2.03) is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The IronBirds are projected to counter with the Orioles’ No. 9 prospect per MLB Pipeline, LHP Boston Bateman (NR), who is making his team and High-A debut.
