Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (15-23, 61-43) continue a six-game road trip against the Hudson Valley Renegades (24-13, 62-39) — the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees — on Thursday evening at 6:35 p.m. from Heritage Financial Park in Wappingers Falls, N.Y.

 

LHP Franklin Gómez (0-1, 4.91) is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The Renegades are projected to counter with the Yankees No. 14 prospect per MLB Pipeline, LHP Kyle Carr (4-6, 2.30).

LAST TIME OUT: Brooklyn snapped a 4-game slide with a 7-4 win at Hudson Valley on Wednesday night...The Cyclones erased a 3-1 deficit with a 5-run top of the 5th...CF A.J. Ewing smashed an RBI double, SS Boston Baro provided a game-tying fielder's choice, and DH Eli Serrano III collected the go-ahead run-scoring single...RF Yohairo Cuevas and 1B Corey Collins added RBI knocks to cap the frame...Serrano and C Vincent Perozo each finished with 3 hits, including a double...All 9 hitters reached base safely at least once...LHP Ryan Ammons earned his 5th win, striking out 4 in 1.1 innings...The 7-run performance was Brooklyn's biggest offensive outburst since July 20's 13-3 win at Hub City.


ALL ABOARD THE CYCLONE: The Cyclones added a pair of relief arms from Single-A St. Lucie on Monday...RHP Hunter Hodges and LHP Gregori Louis were transferred from the Florida State League to Brooklyn's roster...Hodges registered a 1-1 record with a 2.37 ERA (10 ER in 38.0 IP), 4 saves, 28 walks, and 55 strikeouts in 29 relief appearances...Since June 20, the 22-year-old is 1-0 with a 0.56 ERA (1 ER in 16.0 IP) and 2 saves in 12 outings...Louis rejoins the Cyclones after making 6 relief appearances with the club in 2024...In 9 appearances with St. Lucie in 2025, the 22-year-old went 1-0 with a 4.97 ERA (7 ER in 12.2 IP), 1 save, 16 hits, 6 walks, and 21 K's...In 7 outings prior to joining Brooklyn, since the start of July, Louis held a 1-0 mark with a 2.53 ERA (3 ER in 10.2 IP),9 hits, 5 walks, and 16 strikeouts.
