The Brooklyn Cyclones (25-​37, 71-57) continue their final six-game regular season series against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws (35-26, 60-64) — the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies — on Thursday evening at 7:05 p.m. from ShoreTown Ballpark in Lakewood, N.J.

 

RHP Noah Hall (5-6, 2.42) is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The BlueClaws are projected to counter with RHP Sam Highfill (1-1, 4.68).

LAST TIME OUT: Brooklyn suffered its third-straight defeat in a 5-4 loss in 10 innings at Jersey Shore on Wednesday night...CF Dante Nori scored the winning run on a wild pitch...The BlueClaws tied the game at 4 in the 9th on an RBI double by SS José Colmenares...He finished with 3 RBI, including a 2-run triple in the 2nd...Colmenares was thrown out trying to stretch the hit into an inside-the-park home run...DH Matt Rudick reached base 3 times in his first minor league rehab game, picking up a run-scoring triple, and 2 walks, scoring twice...C Ronald Hernandez reached base twice with a pair of walks, while LF Yohairo Cuevas tallied a single, a walk, and a sacrifice fly...RHP Channing Austin punched out 3 over 3.0 innings in a no-decision...He allowed 2 runs on 1 hit in his Brooklyn and High-A debut...The game featured 15 walks (8 by Brooklyn, 7 by Jersey Shore) and 2 balks...BlueClaws pitchers combined to strike out 15 batters.
