RHP Wyatt Hudepohl missed all of 2025 after being injured in May of 2024. He goes to the Arizona Fall League to get back on the mound and build up innings against some of the best prospects in Minor League Baseball.

Drafted by the Mets in the 4th Round of the 2023 MLB June Draft. Signed for $500,000.
Whereas two other pitchers the Mets drafted in 2023, Nolan McLean and Brandon Sproat, have both made MLB debuts, Wyatt has been sidelined the past year and a half with injuries.
When he pitched for St. Lucie in 2024 he displayed a 4-seem fastball that averaged 90-94 MPH, a slider in the mid-80's and a low 80's splitter. Baseball America has also noted that he has an Upper 80's changeup and a cutter with 85-92 MPH.
Ernest Dove reported in early September this year that Wyatt was throwing in the back fields and hitting mid-90's.
Outlook:
Coming off an 18 month injury stint, I don't expect him to get a large number of innings this Fall. In comparison, Dylan Ross who pitched last Fall after injury, only saw 6 appearances and 5.2 innings last year. The most important thing will be to get him back on the mound, see how he recovers. If he is able to throw multiple outings with no issues, it will put him in a good place for 2026.
