The Foundation will be donating a record-high of over 8,700 turkeys to those in need for their Turkey Giveaway presented by Stop & Shop with help from your local Toyota dealers
The Amazin’ Mets Foundation are hosting their 11th annual MetsGiving Turkey Giveaway presented by Stop & Shop with help from your local Toyota dealers on Friday, November 21. A record-high of over 8,700 turkeys will be donated to those in need in advance of Thanksgiving. The Foundation is working with a total of 25 community partners throughout New York City to feed over 70,000 individuals.
Taking over the New York City area, Mets infielder Mark Vientos, Sean Manaea, Mr. & Mrs. Met and members of the Mets organization will be onsite helping distribute turkeys across all five boroughs.
Mets pitcher Sean Manaea will be at the Brooklyn and Bronx locations. Mets infielder Mark Vientos will be at the Manhattan and Queens locations.
Partners include Queensborough Community College in Queens, which will also receive Thanksgiving staples donated by Stop & Shop, West Side Campaign Against Hunger in Manhattan, New York Common Pantry in the Bronx, Project Hospitality in Staten Island, and City Harvest in Brooklyn.
