New York Mets will have a work out today at Citi Field. Carlos Mendoza, Freddy Peralta and David Stearns are scheduled to give press conferences.
Mets open at home tomorrow against Pittsburgh at 1:15 pm.
The Syracuse Mets will also have a work out today before they open Friday on the road against the Worcester Red Sox. Manager Dick Scott and multiple will address the Media.
The New York Post yesterday posted their MLB predictions. Nine different writers gave their predictions. Mike Puma has the Mets winning the World Series. Six writers have the Mets winning the NL East. Four have the Dodgers winning the World Series while two have the Yankees beating L.A. for the title.
Newsday has a big MLB Preview section included in today's paper. They have the Mets finishing second in the NL East with an 89-73 record.
