Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (5-17, 5-17) continue a six-game series against the Frederick Keys (12-10, 12-10) — the High-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles — on Thursday evening at 6:40 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.

RHP Irving Cota (1-1, 1.32) is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The Keys are scheduled to counter with the Orioles’ No. 9 prospect per MLB Pipeline, LHP Boston Bateman (0-2, 9.82)

Live coverage on SNY, the Cyclones Radio Network, Bally Sports Live, and MiLB.tv will begin at 6:30 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT: Brooklyn dropped its third-straight contest in a 5-0 loss on Wednesday afternoon...The defeat marked the second time this season the Cyclones have been shutout...2B Mitch Voit enjoyed a 2-for-4 day at the plate with a couple of stolen bases as well...Still, the Brooklyn bats were held to just five hits on the day...RF Ike Irish and SS Wehiwa Aloy hit back-to-back home runs for Frederick in the 5th...Through the first two games of the series, Frederick has scored eight runs combined in the 5th frame (four in each contest)...RHP Joel Díaz permitted all five runs over 4.2 frames...The Cyclones were just 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position.
