MJ Melendez (2-2, HR, 3 RBI, R): Launched a game-tying three-run homer to left field in the third inning...He also singled in the first...He has hit safely in each of his last five games...Over nine starts this season he is batting .370 (10-27).
Juan Soto (2-3, 2B, 2 R, BB): Singled in the fourth third inning and doubled to center field in the eighth...He has reached base safely in each of his first 16 games this season...It is his longest streak to begin a season in his career....Since returning from the Injured List on April 22 he is slashing .333/.471/.630 (9-27) with seven walks.
Mark Vientos (1-4, 2B, RBI): Hit a go-ahead RBI double in the sixth inning...Has reached base safely in six of his last seven games...He is batting .308 (8-26) against left-handed pitching this season.
