Stock gave up four earned runs in the top of the second, getting hit for seven over four innings. The Brewers (82-51) patiently took single after single off Stock (0-3). Of the 10 hits he allowed, nine were singles, and one was a three-run homer to Brice Turang."

Stocks 4 innings included the Brewers tagging him for six consecutive singles in the second inning, its first such inning since 1998, according to MLB."
AP Sports: "Brice Turang hit a three-run homer and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the New York Mets 8-1 on Wednesday night, overcoming an injury to starter Dustin May after one pitch. May left in the first inning with a bruised right scapula when a 106 mph line drive off the bat of leadoff hitter A.J. Ewing ricocheted off his right shoulder blade. The right-hander was replaced by lefty Robert Gasser (4-5), who earned the win by tossing 5 1/3 innings of one-run ball."

Mets: Fell to the Brewers, 8-1, in the second game of their three-game series...Were their most run allowed in a home game since they surrendered 16 to Kansas City on July 7...Despite the loss, are still 13-7 (.650) over their last 20 games since August 4, the third-best mark in the majors during that span.
A.J. Ewing (1-4, 2 SB): Picked up his 20th and 21st stolen bases in the third...His 21 stolen bases lead all Major League rookies and are tied with Gregg Jefferies (1989) for the third-most by a rookie in franchise history...Is one stolen base shy of tying Lee Mazzilli (1977) for second-most and three stolen bases shy of tying Mookie Wilson's franchise rookie record set in 1981...Was his third career game with multiple stolen bases (also: 6/5 at SD and 7/29 vs. ATL)...Joins Darryl Strawberry as the only rookies in franchise history to swipe multiple bags in a game on three separate occasions.
